HAPPY PAKISTAN RESOLUTION DAY | 23rd March 1940

Pakistan - A great Islamic Country founded by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Pakistan’s main concept was brought on by Allama Iqbal on the 29^th of December 1930. The day 23^rd March 1940, when Quaid e Azam decided to make another nation and as a Pakistani, we celebrate this day known as “Pakistan Resolution Day” held in Minto Park of Lahore with great passion and love for the Country.

Allama Iqbal had a dream of a separate nation for Muslims. Before freedom, Muslims were not given their privileges and always suffered because of Hindus.

Living together with Hindus was near to impossible and demand for separate states was found in Two Nation Theory in which Jinnah addresses:

“Hindus and Muslims belong to two different religious philosophies, social customs and literary traditions. They neither intermarry nor eat together, and indeed they belong to two different civilizations which are based mainly on conflicting ideas and conceptions.”

PASSION AND SACRIFICES OF MUSLIM FOR A SEPARATE NATION:

Muslims had a great passion for a separate homeland as they were tired of facing difficulties and issues caused by Hindus for them. They were not able to celebrate their events means no independence at all.

When they came to know about the separate state they were so excited and ardent that they didn’t hesitate to even sacrifice their lives for the Country. Perhaps, Pakistan was the only Country formed based on religion rather than ethnicity or language.

Along with the narrative of peace, the way to a reformist Pakistan is tossed with difficulties. The journey was navigated and made into an example of a success story. The day 23^rd March is commended every year in the memory to recognize the occasion when the Muslim League drafted the political goal at the Minar-e-Pakistan to recall that with selfless devotion, faith and discipline there is nothing you cannot achieve. So, Happy resolution Day to the entire nation.
